    “Detailed Itinerary”

    Day 1: GORAKHPUR – POKHARA (270 KM 8 HOURS)

    Dep from Gorakhpur to Pokhara on the way visit Gorakhnath Temple, Lumbini (Birth Place of Lord Buddha), Maya devi Pond, World peace Pagoda, Royal Thai Monastery and take rest in Pokhara.

     

    Day 2: POKHARA SIGHT SEEN

    Full Day Pokhara sight seen Vindhyasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave, Gupteshwar Mahadev, Davids’s water falls Gorakha Museum, Seti River in evening Boating in Fewa Lake and join aarti of Taal Barahi After that feel free for shopping and Marketing and take rest in Pokhara.

     

    Day 3: POKHARA-MANOKAMNA-KATHMANDU (210 KM 6 HOURS)

    Early morning if you want to do some adventure activity (Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, Zip Flyer, Ultra Mountain flight) then move to Sarangkot after Move from Pokhara and visit Manokamna Temple via ropeway cable car and night stay in Kathmandu.

     

     

    Day 4: Cultural & World Heritage Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

    Kathmandu sightseeing tour by private vehicle with professional English-speaking tour guide. You will visit main attraction of Kathmandu valley which are listed in World Heritage Site such as Pashupatinath (Hindu’s temple), Swyambhunath (Monkey temple), Boudhanath Stupa (biggest Buddhist stupa in Asia), Kathmandu durbar square (Ancient palaces of Malla kings). Overnight at Hotel. 

     

    Day 5: Drive (5 hours) or fly (25 minutes) to Chitwan national park.

    Today, After early morning breakfast drive (5-6 hours) to Chitwan. Evening time we will visit Tharu (local people) village and know about their unique lifestyle and culture. Overnight at hotel.

     

    Activities at Chitwan:

     

    Elephant Safari 
    Elephant safari is the most popular wildlife activity in Chitwan. Elephant guide you through the jungles; we can see many wild animals like Deer, wild boar, one horn Rhino and Bengal Tiger.

    Elephant Bathing  
    Elephant bathing could be an exciting event in Rapti River. You can take bath with Elephant with the help of Mahouts.

    Canoeing 
    Canoeing ride along the Rapti river inside the Chitwan National Park and take a close view of Crocodiles, rare species of birds, reptiles and other wild animals.

    Elephant Breeding Centre 
    This Elephant Breeding centre is opened in 1984. You can see both babies and adult’s elephant.

    Cultural Program 
    At evening time Tharu people of Chitwan welcome guests by performing dance a singing, famous stick dances and the crazy peacock dance are main highlights which reflects their unique life styles.

     

    Day 6: Drive (3-4 hours) to Lumbini.

    Today, after breakfast we will drive to Lumbini which is the birth place of Gautam Buddha, it takes around 3-4 hours scenic drive.  we will visit world heritage site and remains a most pilgrimage site among Buddhists around the world. Inside Maya Devi temple you will find the exact spot where Buddha was born. The famous sacred pool of ‘Puskarani’ in front of the temple is believed to be where queen Maya Devi bathed just before giving birth to Buddha. Ashoka pillar is another interesting site to visit. You will also visit the international monasteries that have been built in Lumbini belonging to many countries including Germany, Japan, Thailand, China, India, Cambodia, France, Vietnam etc. Overnight at hotel.

     

    Day 7: Drive back to Gorakhpur.

    Today, after breakfast drive or fly back to Kathmandu. Leisure time you can have shopping at Thamel. Overnight at hotel with Bed & Breakfast basis.
