Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Madurai – Temple City Tour
Upon arrival at Madurai Airport/Railway Station, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, proceed for a spiritual sightseeing tour of Madurai:
- Meenakshi Amman Temple – A stunning architectural marvel and one of the most iconic temples in South India, located on the banks of the Vaigai River.
- Alagar Koil (Azhagar Temple) – An ancient hill temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Varadaraja Perumal), located about 20 km from Madurai.
Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 2: Madurai Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, continue your exploration of Madurai:
- Pazhamudircholai Murugan Temple – One of the six abodes of Lord Murugan, set amidst lush forests.
- Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple – Another major Murugan temple, carved into a hill.
- Mariamman Teppakulam (Water Tank) – A large temple tank used for festivals.
- Gandhi Memorial Museum – A tribute to the Father of the Nation with rare photographs and articles.
- Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal – A magnificent 17th-century palace showcasing Indo-Saracenic architecture.

Day 3: Madurai to Rameshwaram (Approx. 175 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Rameshwaram, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India. Upon arrival, check in and refresh before visiting:
- Pamban Bridge – An engineering marvel connecting Rameshwaram to mainland India.
- Ramanathaswamy Temple – Famous for its long corridors and sacred wells.
- Ramar Patham – Sacred footprint of Lord Rama on a hillock.
- Kothandaramaswamy Temple – Located by the sea, this temple is associated with the Ramayana.
Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.
Day 4: Rameshwaram – Dhanushkodi – Kanyakumari (Approx. 310 km / 7 hrs)
Early morning visit to:
- Agni Theertham – A sacred sea bath point near the temple.
- Dhanushkodi – An abandoned ghost town and scenic beach with mythological importance, destroyed in the 1964 cyclone.
- Hanuman Temple & Floating Stones – Related to the Ramayana legend.
After sightseeing, check out and proceed to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India. Evening arrival and overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 5: Kanyakumari Sightseeing – Drive to Trivandrum (Approx. 90 km / 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast, explore the best of Kanyakumari:
- Vivekananda Rock Memorial – A serene spot amidst the sea.
- Thiruvalluvar Statue – The iconic 133-feet statue representing Tamil culture.
- Sunrise & Sunset Points – Witness the majestic view of the sun meeting the sea.
Later, drive to Trivandrum (via Kovalam if time permits). Overnight stay at Trivandrum.
Day 6: Trivandrum Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin your tour of Trivandrum:
- Padmanabhaswamy Temple – An ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, famous for its architectural grandeur and spiritual significance.
- Padmanabhapuram Palace – A 16th-century wooden palace known for its rich Kerala-style architecture (located in Kanyakumari district, but accessible from Trivandrum).
- Napier Museum & Zoo (Optional) – For culture and leisure.

Day 7: Departure from Trivandrum
