Day 1 Arrive in Srinagar
Meal: Dinner
Arrival from Srinagar Airport, After Refresh goes For Shikara Ride. The Dal is famous not only for its beauty, but for its vibrancies, because it sustains within its periphery, a life that is unique anywhere in the world. The houseboat and Shikara communities have lived for centuries on the Dal, and so complete is their infrastructure on the lake, that they seldom have to step on land! Doctors, tailors, and bakers – you’ll see them all in tiny wooden shops on the lake. In The Afternoon we will do some half a day of Local Sightseeing of famous Mughal Gardens With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them – the three Mughal Gardens of Chesmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors’ concept of paradise and are today very popular places for picnics and excursions. In the Evening visit Shankaracharya temple, Hazratbal Shrine. Dinner and Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2 Srinagar – Excursion to Sonmarg
Meal:Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast at houseboat/hotel leave for day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way you stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonamarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony) where snow remains round the year and Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Gulmarg Day Trip
Meal:Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in this world and also called meadows of flower. It has world highest golf course (World Highest) and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports skiing etc. you can enjoy Gondola ride (Cable car, own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colourful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Srinagar by evening. overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Srinagar to Pahalgam (140 km / Approx 04 Hours’ Drive)
Meal:Breakfast & Dinner
After Breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, Pahalgam (2133 mts ) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), on see the beautiful countryside the way and lot of rice fields. Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.
Dinner and Overnight stay in Pahalgam Hotel.
Note: In Pahalgam outside vehicle are not allowed for sightseeing. Only local taxi can roam around within Pahalgam city. All outside vehicle will pick up & drop from hotel.
Day 5 Pahalgam to Srinagar
Meal:Breakfast & Dinner
After buffet breakfast spend some time in Pahalgam & check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar. By evening reach Srinagar, evening free at leisure & can visit local market for shopping. Dinner & overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 6 Srinagar Airport Drop
Meal:Breakfast
After buffet breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar Airport to board your flight back with a memorable experience with Trip Deals.
